Field Technician

Semeq Field Technicians offer excellent on-site customer service as they perform the on-site activities offered by Semeq. Semeq provides all techniques and installation procedures, so no previous predictive maintenance experience is required, but it is helpful.

Duties Include:

  • Use predictive maintenance data gathering equipment provided by Semeq to accurately and efficiently take measurements from customers’ equipment using techniques including vibration, thermography, oil sampling, and mechanical and airborne ultrasound data gathering
  • Install and service Semeq’s VibeCloud Wireless Vibration Monitoring System
  • Perform project setup duties including gathering technical equipment information and documenting it for initial customer project implementation
  • This position is expected to require approximately 75% travel via car and plane

Education and Experience Required:

  • High school degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in some sort of industrial or light industrial mechanical-related work
  • Experience working independently without direct supervision for several days at a time (often found in field service positions)

Education and Experience Plus (Not Required):

  • 2+ year information systems degree
  • Previous experience performing predictive maintenance activities
  • Experience as a mechanic in an industrial factory setting
  • Experience with information systems activities such as configuring Wi-Fi networks and understanding basic networking and software configuration principles

Technical Account Manager

Semeq Technical Account Managers offer regular, expert service and support to Semeq’s customers.

Duties Include:

  • Complete duties to aid Semeq Field Technicians as needed
  • Make monthly calls with customers to perform in-depth reviews of the Semeq analysis reports
  • Perform motor circuit analysis tests on customer equipment
  • This position is expected to require approximately 75%+ travel

Education and Experience Required:

  • High school degree
  • 2+ year technical degree such as industrial technician certification or BA in an engineering field
  • 5+ years of experience in some sort of industrial or light industrial mechanical-related work
  • Experience working independently without direct supervision for several days at a time (often found in field service positions)
  • Certification in one or more of the following predictive maintenance techniques: vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography, and/or ultrasound analysis

Education and Experience Plus (Not Required)

  • 2+ year information systems degree
  • Level II or higher certification in one of the predictive maintenance techniques listed above
  • Experience as a maintenance or reliability manager in an industrial factory setting
  • Experience with information systems activities such as configuring Wi-Fi networks and understanding basic networking and software configuration principles

Customer Account Manager

Semeq Account Managers develop new business for Semeq by engaging in consultative sales with prospective customers.

Duties Include:

  • Building marketing materials as needed for use in advertising such as white papers, MS PowerPoint presentations, etc.
  • Monitor and maintain content on our corporate websites and social media platforms
  • Attend industry trade shows as needed
  • Maintain up-to-date customer relationship management system records such as lead records, call logs, quotes, and other CRM-related information in Semeq’s proprietary CRM system
  • Perform Semeq Field Technician duties as part of learning the Semeq business offerings
  • This position is expected to require approximately 75%+ travel

Education and Experience required:

  • High school degree
  • Expert knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial supplies and/or services sales showing consistent sales growth year over year
  • Knowledge of basic equipment reliability concepts and condition monitoring techniques and strategies available today

Education and Experience Plus (Not Required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field such as business administration or accounting
  • Certification in one or more of the following predictive maintenance techniques: vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography, and/or ultrasound analysis
  • Experience as a maintenance or reliability manager in an industrial factory setting
  • Experience with information systems activities such as configuring Wi-Fi networks and understanding basic networking and software configuration principles
